Notifications
What the notification bell is for
statycs surfaces a small set of actionable signals through the bell in the top bar — things you should look at, not announcements. The bell only appears when there’s at least one open notification; once everything is dismissed or resolved, it disappears entirely.
TL;DR
The bell shows up only when there’s something to act on — for example a company with unmapped accounts. Click any item to jump to where you can fix it; dismiss to silence.
How notifications work
The list is computed, not pushed. statycs reads org state — upload statuses and mapping coverage — and re-derives the list whenever something changes. Dismissals are per user and saved to your statycs account (not your browser), so they stay consistent across your devices. If a notification’s underlying condition flips back on (e.g. a new unmapped batch arrives), it resurfaces.
What you’ll see
Unmapped accounts
When a company’s upload contains accounts that haven’t been mapped to a Level 2 position yet, the bell shows a {Company} has unmapped accounts entry. Click it to jump straight to the mapping screen for that company; once every account is mapped, the entry disappears from the bell automatically.
Dismissing
Click the × on a single notification to dismiss it, or Clear all to dismiss every open item at once. Dismissals are per user and sync across your devices; resurfacing happens only if the underlying state changes (for example, a new unmapped batch arrives).
